Lake Titicaca Tours

Located between Bolivia and Peru, Lake Titicaca is amongst the most fascinating lakes on earth. It is situated for a very high altitude, at substantially more than 3800 meters above sea level, as well as a tour at Titicaca is surely an unforgettable experience for virtually any visitor.

When visiting Lake Titicaca, the city of Puno is best place to stay, within the Peruvian side in the lake.

The capital of scotland- Puno can be an interesting destination for a visit because it is the capital of folklore of Peru. It also carries a beautiful old cathedral, which is close to many attractions of Peru such as the Macchu Picchu or the city of Cusco.

Lake Titicaca is usually a sacred area for the Inca civilization, as being the Incan mythology says which the first Inca king, Manco Capac, was developed here.

According to the Incan mythology, this is actually the place the spot that the world is made from, once the god Viracocha came out in the lake and came up with the sun, the celebs and the first people.

On the Bolivian side in the lake there is the fascinating capital of scotland- Challapampa , home with the famous labyrinth (Chinkana).

Also around the Bolivian side, you will find the biggest island with the lake, Isla del Sol ( Island  in the Sun). While there won't be any roads about the island, turning it into not tourism friendly, the over 180 ruins from your Incan period are turning it into worth to see.
